Our guests will receive a booking confirmation by email. Please note that we do not send you a separate booking confirmation. You can view all of your current bookings on the A-ROSA Extranet after logging in via the agency sign in under the bookings and agency history tab.

There is no transaction fee for payment by credit card.

Of course! A-ROSA Premium All-Inclusive requests may be added to a waiting list.

Please send your request via email to service@a-rosa.com or international.groups@a-rosa.com. A-ROSA will contact you immediately if a suitable cabin becomes available again.

The travel date may be changed once free of charge in the Premium All-inclusive fare up to 30 days before departure.

• For each additional change € 25 per person will be charged.
• Flight bookings: for changes to flight bookings the charge will be increased by € 80 per person

Changes to bookings made 29 days or less prior to departure can only be made by cancelling the contract under the existing conditions and making a new booking. Cancellation fees are listed under the “What are the cancellation fees?” question.

The indication of the requested data is mandatory for the proper functioning of customs, port and border procedures. We kindly ask foreign citizens to inform themselves about valid entry requirements at their consulate. A valid passport is mandatory.

Your customers should enter their data online at least 3 weeks prior to departure here. This data will be passed on to the ship and the authorities of the ports of call.

The final payment is due 30 days prior to departure. Please note that you will not receive a separate request for payment for this final payment.

For the substitution of a passenger an additional fee of € 50 per person will be charged for the cruise only. Costs arising from the substitution of any additional services that may have been booked (flights etc.) will be charged in full to the person making the booking.

The currency used on board is the Euro. During the cruise, you can use your cabin card as your on-board credit card. At the end of the cruise, you can settle your final bill in cash, by EC card or with the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express. When paying by credit card or debit/maestro card, you will need your PIN code. Please make sure that you have your personal PIN code with you. Shore excursion bookings will be charged to your cabin account.

After conclusion of the contract, an initial payment amounting to 25% of the travel price shall be due. Travel insurance, if taken out, must be fully paid at this time.

As a travel agent or tour operator with a homepage, you have the possibility to offer a direct link to our online booking. All bookings are then made directly with your agency number, on which you will of course receive your commission.

8.2 a) Standard rate for "A-ROSA Premium All-Inclusive" prices

c) If a partial cancellation is made by a full-paying passenger (irrespective of the booked fare) who has booked a double cabin, with the result that the remaining passenger will havesingle occupancy of the double cabin, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH reserves the right to charge cancellation costs as set out in the table. The compensation payable shall amount to no less than 60% of the proportionate travel price. The same shall apply if a passenger paying the full price cancels their berth in a cabin with multiple berths. In this situation, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH reserves the right to rebook the cabin. If a partial cancellation is made for a child up to 15 years of age who is travelling free of charge in the company of at least one responsible adult and is accommodated in a double cabin, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH will charge a processing fee of € 200.

d) For additional themed packages with a separate booking code, such as wellness packages, and also for arrival and departure arrangements and extended stays in hotels, the standard rate shall apply (8.2.a.).

SHIP’S MANIFEST

If your customers have not yet entered their data online, please kindly remind them to enter it here before the start of their cruise. The ship’s manifest is a mandatory document for each passenger, when travelling on water.

PASSPORT / IDENTITY CARD

For German citizens the following applies: identity card or passport. We kindly ask all other guests to check with their embassy. Valid identification papers are requested. We recommend guests travel with a passport.

A -ROSA LUGGAGE TAGS

The luggage tag needs to be completely and legibly filled out and be attach to the luggage. If you do not have luggage tags, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will gladly send these to you.

CREDIT CARD AND CASH

The on-board currency is Euro. During the trip, the cabin card is used as a credit card. At the end of the journey you customers can pay the final account in cash, with EC card or with the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express. When paying by credit card or EC/Maestro card, the PIN code is needed. The booking of shore excursions will also be billed to the cabin account.

PERSONAL ITEMS

Please remind your customers to carry a sufficient supply of medicaments and possibly a second pair of glasses, as well as insect repellent and sunscreen.

The A-ROSA ships do not have wheelchair-accessible cabins and there are no passenger lifts on board except on A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA SENA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA. Only A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA have a lift between deck 1 and deck 3 and A-ROSA SENA between deck 1 and 4. The sun deck, however, can only be reached by stairs, which can result in restrictions. On our Rhine ships A-ROSA AQUA and A-ROSA BRAVA, as well as on the Seine ship A-ROSA VIVA, there is cabin no. 224, which is suitable for persons with reduced mobility. The A-ROSA SENA also has cabins that are suitable for persons with restricted mobility. However, we cannot guarantee the assignment of this cabin when booking the Basic fare.

For your cruise on an A-ROSA ship, we are offering the TEFRA Travel Logistics luggage service up to 4 business days before departure to the ports of Cologne and Passau and up to 7 business days before departure to the ports of Paris and Lyon.

On our ships A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA FLORA and A-ROSA BRAVA as well as on A-ROSA SILVA and A-ROSA VIVA there are 2 connecting cabins on each deck, which are very suitable for families with children. The A-ROSA SENA has cabins with connecting doors on deck 3.

We attach great importance to our customers’ physical well-being and want to meet their needs in the best way possible. In addition, please ask your customers to contact the reception after their arrival to make an appointment with the chef in order to accommodate the individual needs. We can then assure that you are only offered food that you can enjoy carefree.

Pregnant women are always welcome on board.

Yes, they may bring their mobility aid on board, please notify the A-ROSA Service Center (service@a-rosa.com) prior to departure and send them all the information about the size and weight of the wheelchair or mobility aid. Please wait for their approval. A rental of wheelchairs is not possible on board. There are no lifts available on board most of the A-ROSA cruise ships; your customers must be able to take the stairs. A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA have a lift between deck 1 and deck 3 and A-ROSA SENA between deck 1 and 4. The sun deck, however, can only be reached by stairs, which can result in restrictions.

For Premium All-Inclusive bookings, our guests have the option of choosing their own cabin (subject to availability). The desired cabin number will then be shown on their booking confirmation and later on in the travel information. If our guests opt for the fare Basic Full Board, we will inform them of the cabin number when they check in on board.

A-ROSA travel information will be sent out after full payment is received, but no earlier than three weeks before departure. They contain details of the necessary travel preparations, possible excursions, arrival and departure, and other information about the upcoming cruise.

Weapons, explosives, fireworks, acids, dangerous chemicals and flammable substances of any kind, as well as irons, candles and heating devices (e.g. hair dryers, hair straighteners, curling irons, etc.) are not permitted on board. It is also forbidden to bring on board drugs and medical equipment that does not meet the technical requirements. In the event of non-compliance, passengers may be denied boarding without compensation.

It is not possible to take bicycles, children's bicycles and e-scooters on board.

The entrainment of medical oxygen containers may not exceed a total of 60 litres and is permitted only after the containers are registered prior to the cruise. Please send us the technical sheet of the device or the oxygen cylinders in advance to service@a-rosa.com.

Important: Please wait for our confirmation and the authorisation of the medical device. Rental of breathing apparatuses is not possible on board. Medical devices that do not meet the technical requirements or the safety regulations of the ship are not allowed on board.

Special vaccinations are not required. Children should have the age appropriate vaccinations according to immunisation schedule. Tetanus / Polio / Diphtheria: If the vaccination is older than 10 years, a booster injection is recommended. This also applies to hepatitis A vaccination. Please also think of an effective protection for the prevention and treatment of insect bites (especially in the Danube Delta) and a sunscreen with a high SPF.

Please make sure to bring an identity document (identity card or passport), which is valid in the period during the trip. We recommend that you also carry a photocopy of your identity papers in your luggage.

Citizens of other countries should contact their relevant consulates about any visas or other entry documents that may be required.

The TEFRA baggage service can be booked via the German toll-free hotline 0800 5002352. The charge for the luggage service varies depending on the arrival and departure arrangements. Details can be found on the luggage service flyer in your travel information. The luggage service can conveniently be paid for on board the ship via your personal on-board account. For your departure, the luggage service can be booked directly on board the ship.

For protection against insects, an insect screen in the form of a roller blind/sliding element is usually attached to the outside of the balcony door. When operating the roller blind, please ensure you exert equal force distribution in order to prevent it from getting stuck. It can be locked at the bottom.

Yes, the water on board is of drinking quality.

The windows and balcony doors of the suites and the cabins with Juliette balconies can be opened, all other cabins do not feature a window which can be opened. However, all cabins have windows and are therefore outside cabins. The A-ROSA ALVA has cabins with lowerable panorama windows on deck 2 and deck 3.

Guests are mostly from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Israel and the United States. The on-board language on the A-ROSA ships are German and English.

Full Board Plus includes an extensive breakfast, lunch buffet , dinner buffet, an embarkation snack and a tea and coffee hour. Many cruises also include seasonal extras such as sandwiches or midnight snacks.

A variety of high-quality beverages are already included in a “Premium All-Inclusive” booking:

Tea, coffee and coffee specialties, soft drinks, beer, sparkling wine, a selection of wines, cocktails and long drinks. Excluded are specialties subject to surcharge and champagne. Get an impression of our beverage variety with our A-ROSA Menu Example.

In case of emergency, the lifejackets can be found in the closet of every cabin.

On most ships, there is hypoallergenic bedding available. If this is required, please contact the A-ROSA Service Center by e-mail: service@a-rosa.com. Customers are welcome to bring their own bedding. Please contact the A-ROSA Service Center prior to the departure if your customers wish to do so in order to inform the ship’s management.

Yes, there are baby beds available on board the A-ROSA cruise ships. On board the A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA, the addition of a baby cot is only possible in the suites. There is a small shop on board all A-ROSA cruise ships. There you will find a selection from our exclusive A-ROSA collection: cosmetics, everyday commodities and souvenirs. The opening hours can be found in the daily programme.

On the sun deck you will find deck chairs and a sun canopy. In the interest of all passengers, please do not reserve deck chairs. Woolen blankets for cooler weather on deck can be found in your cabin.

Guests may receive bathrobes upon request from cabin stewardess or at the reception.

The ships of the A-ROSA fleet are equipped with a modern GSM telephone system which enables your customers to make phone calls worldwide via direct dialling. Your customers will find information on the valid fees at the reception.

Like the entire ship, your cabin has air conditioning as well. The cabin temperature can be adjusted individually. When you open the balcony door, the air circulation unit is automatically switched off.

Laundry bags and order slips for our laundry service are located in the wardrobe. Payment is made via your on-board account.

Only the suites of the A-ROSA FLORA, A-ROSA SENA and A-ROSA SILVA have a minibar. On board the A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA all cabine have a minibar. For storing refrigerated medication, please contact the reception. The employees will store the medicines properly. The reception is open 24/7, access to the medicines is available at any time.

Unfortunatley, money exchange is not possible on board. However, bureau de change can be found in the direct vicinity of most of our docking locations.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for guests to bring their own bicycles on board. However, your customers can take part in our A-ROSA biking excursions (except A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA). The Reception Team will happily inform your customers about the possibility of biking excursions.

Our fare A-ROSA Premium All-Inclusive ensures you will have a relaxed time on board. Full BoardPlus comes with comprehensive breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets as well as high-quality drinks such as tea, coffee specialities, water, soft drinks, beer, prosecco and selection of wines included. Additionally, you can book the drinks package for cocktails and long drinks. Other additional services on board are shore excursions, spa treatments, purchases in the onboard shop, À-la-carte-Meals and laundry service. In addition, fine wines, champagne and other premium beverages are offered at an additional cost.

The A-ROSA fleet (except A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA) is equipped with e-bikes. These are used for our bike excursions. The e-bikes can be hired at selected times for your own explorations. For more information on availability and times, please contact reception on board.

Incoming calls are forwarded by reception to the cabin your customer has booked. Incoming and outgoing roaming charges are automatically billed to their onboard account.

On board and during the shore excursions, you can wear what you like. The dress code is comfortable and casual. Please remember to bring warmer clothes for the evenings out on deck. For the shore excursions, we recommend you bring sturdy shoes. In the restaurants, swimwear or shorts are not appropriate for dinner.

Animals are not permitted on board the A-ROSA vessels.

On A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA VIVA and A-ROSA BRAVA there is a heated whirlpool in the spa area on Deck 3. On A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA there is a heated whirlpool on the sun deck. On all other A-ROSA ships you will find a heated swimming pool on the sun deck. On A-ROSA SENA there is both a whirlpool in the SPA-ROSA and a swimming pool with its own kids’ pool on the sun deck. Bath towels are provided in your cabin.

In the EU, guests can leave the ship as soon as we dock. In non-EU countries, we have to wait for the permission of the local authorities. We request that all guests are back on board no later than 30 minutes before we sail away. The docking times may change at short notice. Please ask your customers to pay close attention to announcements and information in the daily programme.

The languages on board are English and German. All information, such as the daily programmes, notices and menus, etc. are available in both languages.

Premium All-inclusive customers who book a junior or balcony suite can expect the following additional services free free of charge:

Public and automated announcements can be heard on deck and in the cabins and primarily inform guests of outings on land and important programme points. Announcements are in English and German. No announcements will be made in the cabin before 8:00 or after 22:00, except in the event of an emergency. Announcements concerning the landscape passing by are made via App.

The reception is open around the clock and is pleased to assist you with any questions or requests.

All cabins are equipped with the following modern facilities: shower, vacuum toilet, telephone, hair dryer, towels, satellite TV, safety deposit box with individually adjustable numerical combination and individually controlled air conditioning. All cabins are non-smoking cabins.
We do not offer any twin beds, with the exception of cabin category S.
Please note that the beds cannot be separated, they consist of one frame with two mattresses, two blankets and two pillows

The carriage of battery-powered means of transport on board is prohibited. This applies, for example, to electric scooters, hoverboards, mini Segways, Solowheels and e-bikes. This regulation applies regardless of the power of the battery. The reason for this is safety aspects, such as ensuring clear escape and traffic routes and avoiding the risk of fire on board.

No, this is not possible for insurance reasons.

For the flight, please book the names of the participants in the correct order according to the identification card, nicknames are not allowed. Please check the correct spelling of all participant names indicated on the invoices/booking confirmations. Later changes must be checked on a case-by-case basis and are only possible for a fee.

Non-binding excursions can be reserved online in advance. Confirmation, booking and invoicing of the excursions will only be binding on board. A-ROSA merely acts as an agent for all the excursions offered; the local agencies are responsible for their organisation. Please note that some excursions only take place if there is a minimum number of participants, and the number of participants is also limited for some excursions.

No, the BahnCard discount cannot be applied to the travel offers. Bahn.bonus-Punkte cannot be collected either. For booking purposes or any questions regarding your train journey please contact our service centre via e-mail at service@a-rosa.com or via telephone at +49 381 202 6001.

We recommend booking the A-ROSA transfer on site for € 33 per person and route, subject to availability. The transfer will be charged to the cabin account.

If the flight arrival or departure is not booked via A-ROSA, the transfer from the airport to the ship and/or back is not included. The airport transfer cannot be booked in advance as an individual service by individual guests. The rebooking of an A-ROSA airport transfer is possible on the spot on board and only in individual cases, depending on the availability of transfer places and against payment (A-ROSA airport transfer from € 27 p. p. /per route). Alternatively, we recommend an individual taxi transfer in Lyon. On the day of arrival, sufficient taxis are available at the airport. For your individual return journey from the ship to the airport, you have the option to book our transfer service on board for € 30 per person.

Lyon Railway:

The train station transfer cannot be booked in advance as an individual service by individual guests. Guests arriving and departing individually (not with the A-ROSA TGV-Arrangement) by train to Lyon, we recommend an individual taxi transfer from the train station to the ship or back. Depending on the volume of traffic, the journey takes 5 to 20 minutes each way. Taxis can be pre-ordered at the reception on board for individual transfers from the ship to the station on the day of departure. Alternatively, depending on the availability of transfer places and payment (A-ROSA train station transfer from € 22 p. P. /per route), it is also possible to rebook an A-ROSA train station transfer on board in individual cases.

If the arrival or departure flight is not booked via A-ROSA, the transfer from the airport to the ship and/or return is not included. For guests who have booked an individual flight arrangement on their own or through their travel agency, we recommend booking the A-ROSA transfer on site, depending on the availability of transfer seats, for a fee of € 37 per person and route.

b) Train to Paris

If transfer seats are still available, guests travelling individually by train can book this service on site for € 33 per person and route. The transfer will be charged to the cabin account.
Should there be no more space available on the A-ROSA transfer bus, we recommend an individual taxi transfer from the railway station to the ship and back. On the day of your return journey, our A-ROSA team will be happy to order you a taxi from the ship to the railway station.

The number of available airports is limited. A-ROSA books the flight depending on availability in appropriate booking classes. A direct flight cannot be guaranteed.

The RIT ticket booked with A-ROSA is not valid for Euronight (EN) trains and ÖBB Nightjets! Furthermore, RIT tickets are not recognised in special trains, Thalys, Eurostar, AVE trains and Talgo.

The possibility of a seat reservation will be checked on request. Fees may vary in amount. Except flights with Air France (no reservation for short- and medium-haul flights)

Seat reservations are included for train tickets booked via A-ROSA. Together with the booking information, your customers will receive a voucher code allowing them to select their preferred connection to/from the port, choose their own seat and redeem the train ticket. Railway services are confirmed immediately, flight and hotel are always available at A-ROSA as an enquiry and will be confirmed according to availability. In this case, waiting times may occasionally occur if, for example, waiting list seats have to be checked at the airline.

On the day of embarkation, the transfer takes place at 15 h. Coaches are available at Cologne Central Station to take you to the ship. Please note that there may be waiting times. If you have any questions, your A-ROSA ship will be happy to answer your questions on the day of embarkation. On the day of disembarkation, the transfer to Cologne Central Station will take place at 8.15 h. You will receive further information on the transfer from the ship to the train station directly on board. The meeting point is on the forecourt of Cologne Central Station (exit Breslauer Platz) in front of the pharmacy ‘Am Hauptbahnhof’. Our staff will be waiting for you on the forecourt and show you the way to your transfer bus. After you have handed in your luggage, you will find it in your cabin after embarkation.

The transfer can be booked for € 30 per person (return).

Lyon Train Station: Arrival by TGV booked via A-ROSA takes place one day before embarkation. After the train arrives, please make your way independently to your Radisson Blu hotel (within walking distance, located directly at the railway station).

TRANSFER FROM THE HOTEL: You will receive the relevant information for the transfer with your travel information. You will be picked up from the Radisson Blu Hotel at around 13:00 on embarkation day. Once all transfer guests have arrived, the group will walk together to the transfer vehicle at the train station; depending on the number of guests, this may be a bus, minibus or car. There may be waiting times. The transfer time for the day of departure will be announced to you on board.

Lyon Airport:The transfer times for flights booked via A-ROSA depend on the arrival time of your flight. You will receive detailed information with your travel information. You will receive all information on the transfer from the ship to the airport directly on board.

Paris Train Station: Once you’ve arrived at the train station, an employee of our local agency or your driver will be waiting for you at the meeting point, which is located is at the far end of the platform (terminus). Please pay attention to the signs. Once all transfer guests have arrived, the group will walk together to the transfer vehicle outside the station, which may be a bus, minibus or car depending on the number of guests booked. There may be a short wait at the station.

Paris Airport: On the day of embarkation, group transfers are organized at two fixed times:

13:00 o'clock / 15:00 o'clock / optional additional transfer for later arrivals

On the day of disembarkation, the transfers will take place at 06:00 o'clock or 09:00 o'clock to the airport. You will receive further information on the transfer from the ship to the airport directly on board.

The transfer will only be available on the day of arrival and departure. On the day of embarkation, the transfer is attuned for the train ICE 91 (arrival approx. 14:30 h) and departs at 15:00 h.

You can book our transfers from the station to the ship and back for € 25 per person.

The return transfer from the ship to the train station or airport is organized by the crew on board. Our guests will receive detailed information about the transfer times the day before departure. Normally, all organized transfers take place between 08:00 and 09:00 am.

Hotel: The hotel facilities vary. Some offer three-bed rooms or family rooms with a connecting door, but in some cases it is only possible to add an extra bed/folding bed. Prices and availability on request.

Train: Children up to 5 years of age travel free of charge within Germany, children aged 6 to 14 years of age travel in Germany and Austria free of charge only if accompanied by their parents/grandparents (with family child RIT ticket). Children up to 5 years of age travel free of charge on international transport to France (Lyon and Paris) without entitlement to their own seat, children from 6 to 14 years of age accompanied by their parents/grandparents pay half price (with entitlement to a seat). If a child up to the age of 5 requires their own seat, they must be booked at half the price of the adults, just like children aged 6 – 14 years.

Flight: Babies ("infant" 0-1 years old) and children ("child" usually 2-11 years old) pay a reduced fare for many airlines, but never travel free of charge. Discounts vary between airlines and must therefore be requested from A-ROSA.

Transfer: Long-distance bus operators recommend that babies/children up to 3 years of age travel only in mandatory seats/baby carriers (e. g. Maxi-Cosi). The parents bear the responsibility for safe transportation. The bus driver has the right to refuse to take you on the bus if there are valid safety concerns. The buses used by the transfer agency do not provide child seats/baby carriers, as different seats are required depending on the size.

A-ROSA can apply for free assistance/accompanying service at the airports for disabled or elderly people who feel insecure at the airport or on connecting flights. Should this occur in connection with the transport of a walker or wheelchair by the guest, it is absolutely necessary to register the device with the airline before departure. For this purpose, A-ROSA requires information on weight and dimensions (length x width x height).

Furthermore, we would ask you to inform us about the extent of the obstruction/insecurity: Can stairs be managed independently or is help needed here? Can the route between the airport building and the transfer bus be managed independently or is help needed here as well?

a) Germany

Severely disabled persons can take an accompanying person (minimum age 6 years) with them free of charge if the note ‘The need for permanent accompaniment is proven’ and the ‘B’ mark are not deleted from the severely disabled person's pass. Free transport is provided in the class in which the severely disabled person is travelling.
In this case, you only need to book the train ticket for the severely disabled person with A-ROSA.

b) in HGV traffic (TGV) to Lyon and Paris

If you are in possession of a valid German disabled person's pass, the accompanying person can only travel free of charge on the TGV if the severely disabled person is blind or in a wheelchair. A rollator is an orthopaedic aid and does not count as a wheelchair.
The need for the blind person or wheelchair user to be accompanied at all times must also be noted on the severely disabled person's pass.

If train tickets are changed or cancelled, please return the unused original ticket before departure. If you book your train tickets at catalogue price, the rail fare can only be reimbursed in accordance with the A-ROSA travel conditions if you present your unused original ticket before the start of the cruise. A refund of the tickets is not possible when booking a railroad inclusive offer.

The routes permitted for transport to the destination are shown on the ticket (e. g. certain border crossing points to be used). For this reason, the border crossing to be used must be indicated in international traffic when booking.

Special case TGV to/from Lyon and Paris: there is a train connection for the train indicated on the ticket!

When choosing a train connection, please plan for sufficient time between the arrival of the train and the departure time of the ship to ensure a comfortable and stress-free beginning of your cruise. In the event of a delay or cancellation, guests can contact the ship directly to discuss the next steps individually. The telephone number is found in the travel information.

The train tickets are valid for all DB stations with the exception of some stations from which non-Federal Railways (NE trains) run.
